By federal route 200, north of La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, just follow the road immersed in the tropical jungle of the Sierra Madre Occidental. Follow the road for almost 20 km, and you will find the turnoff to Sayulita on your left-hand side.
If instead of the jungle, you want the panoramic view of the sea to accompany you during your trip to Sayulita, just take the road towards Punta Mita and you will enjoy incredible views during the approximately 30 km that you will travel along this route.

What to do in Sayulita?
Day or night, most visitors to Sayulita are on the beach, two blocks from the main plaza. Whether it's sunbathing, swimming, or trying your luck with a surfboard to catch a good wave. If you are more adventurous, walking north or south you can find less crowded beaches, such as Los Muertos, Mal Paso or Patzcuarito. These Sayulita beaches are ideal if you are looking for more privacy.
You can also find horseback riding, mountain biking or ATV tours if you want to explore the jungle surrounding Sayulita. On these tours, you will be able to appreciate the wildlife and encounter wild animals. On the way back you can enjoy fresh fish, cooked to your liking, or seafood, the specialty of the restaurants here.
